Ballclay is one of the most important raw materials traded in the world. A closer look at the high-precision experiments performed on the Balkli mines shows that the composition of the soil samples obtained from a mine is very different; so; Considering the overall composition, it is not possible to conclude which mine this soil belongs to or exactly which geological period it belongs to. One of the most important mines in Iran is Balkadeh Abadeh near Abadeh in Fars province, Tabasi around Tabas in Yazd province, Hamoneh, Taft and Kerman. Although they are not competitive with foreign types in terms of quality, but they are used significantly in the Iranian ceramic industry.
